TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is seeking an Infrastructure Automation Architect to drive a technical team to create reproducible infrastructure frameworks and IaC (Infrastructure As Code) workflows.

• Work with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver digital solutions leveraging automation tools and coding skills
• Architect infrastructure delivery and lead transformation initiatives involving Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Establish a sustainable IT DevOps model by driving a mature solution architecture aligned with industry best practices
• Installs, maintains, administrates, and troubleshoots Unix, Linux and Windows servers and appliances.
• Provide guidance to other team members with converting customer requirements into reliable IT infrastructure
• Identifies repetitive infrastructure tasks and automates them by developing reusable and maintainable infrastructure provisioning and configuration code library
• Works with end-users to develop automation workflows and implements.
• Assists team in designing and implementing changes, improvements, or installation of automation
• Assist with implementing security guidelines for OS and Infrastructure automation platforms
• Automate system deployment and management tasks to enable private, public, and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
• Supports and maintains IT automation infrastructure
• Creates required reports in response to business user needs.
• Support DevOps operations by integrating developed IaC and Configuration as Code (CaC) into CICD pipeline builds
• Develop documentation utilizing enterprise standardized templates including: Installation and Configuration Guides, white papers, design and engineering plans

• 7+ years scripting/coding - modern DevOps tools such as Ansible, Python, VMware PowerCLI, PowerShell, Terraform, Python
• 3+ years of Unix, Linux or Windows system administration experience
• 5+ years of DevOps experience
• 2+ years experience in GitHub and/or similar version control code repository systems
• Deep expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools - Ansible, Terraform
• Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle: build, test, deploy and release management with CI/CD automation and integration tools like Jenkins
• Experience with containerization, e.g., Docker & Kubernetes. and server virtualization (VMware, KVM)
• Experience in the following technologies/languages desirable: Rundeck, VMware ESXi, VMware vRealize Automation, Ansible, , Bash and Powershell.
• Optional Certification(s) would be a plus: Terraform Associate Certification, Amazon Cloud Solutions Architect, Azure Cloud Solution Architect

Education:    

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

Clearance: 

• The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation

Pay Range:

• The pay for this position ranges from $65,240 to $110,500
• The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
