Responsibilities

  • Work with the Technical Systems Architect to deploy IBM Partner Engagement Manager (PEM) using the Red Hat OpenShift Certified Containers in Non-Production and Production Environments
  • Mentor other System Administrators on the configuration of IBM Partner Engagement Manager (PEM) using the Red Hat OpenShift Certified Containers
  • Installation & Configuration of IBM Partner Engagement Manager on RedHat OpenShift Certified Containers
  • Install & Configuration of RESTFul API’s with IBM/Sterling File Gateway
  • General maintenance of the IBM Partner Engagement Manager (PEM) Portal, Repository & Provisioner
  • Act as a Sr. Middleware Architect to evaluate and design software applications, planning the various feature of a program and integrate them into a functioning system
  • Determines the technical specification of a project, creating technical blueprint and editing code
  • Evaluating, identifying, and developing software solutions.  Installing/configuration IBM PEM on the VAPO container platform
  • Document and record every aspect of an application or software and train and oversee the activities of the members of the development team.  Coordinating Monthly CRISP Patch
  • Participate and operate within an SFG Project Administrator to support daily monitoring for B2Bi and ISCC production environments on the zLinux/s390 and Linux VMS platforms
  • Upgrading B2Bi and ISCC with newest version to meet VA security requirements
  • Renew TLS/SSL for B2Bi and ISCC yearly

Qualifications

  • Must have extensive experience with Administrator responsibilities and product installations
  • Middleware experience - Highest priority need - IBM Sterling File Gateway
  • InterSystems HealthShare, IBM WebSphere, Splunk
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with IBM/Sterling File Gateway (SFG) & Business to Business Integrator.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with SFTP/FTP transfer protocols and file transfers built-in software applications
  • Vast experience and/or knowledge of IBM Partner Engagement Manager (PEM) in building/configuration of Red Hat OpenShift Certified Containers, preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Container management - Docker/Kubernetes
  • Will use Kubernetes/Docker to schedule and automate the deployment, management, and scaling of containerized applications
  • Excellent skillset of RedHat OpenShift Certified Containers
  • Linux scripting experience, preferred
  • Expertise in developing Sterling/IBM integrator database schemas, complex maps and building business processes 
  • Vast experience and/or knowledge of ServiceNow Integration Hub, Flow Designer and SFTP Spokes, preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow Integration Hub & Flow Designer
  • Will use ServiceNow Integration Hub to schedule and automate file transfers between endpoints in software applications
  • Linux scripting experience, preferred
  • Expertise in developing Sterling/IBM integrator database schemas, complex maps and building business processes

Preferred Qualifications:       

  • Experience in data clustering, business process modeling, load balancing and use of perimeter servers
  • Experience in implementation/configuration of RESTful API’s to enable extensibility
  • Excellent Linux administration
  • General networking knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of SSH Public/Private Keys / Certificates
  • Excellent knowledge of Java language
  • Experience with messaging technology
  • Experience working in data centers
  • Problem solving skills and good documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix team environment, actively and effectively managing relationships with customers, technical teams, product development, project managers, and other program stake holders
  • Experience leading information technology projects involving innovation and/or modernization

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related scientific /technical discipline and 10+ years’ work experience
  • Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (18 years total)

Clearance: 

  • The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation

Pay Range:

  • The pay for this position ranges from $79,240 to $103,500
  • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
  • Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
