Responsibilities

  • Work with the Technical Systems Architect to deploy Service Now Integration Hub, Flow Designer and SFTP Spokes technologies in Non-Production and Production Environments.
  • Mentor other System Administrators on the configuration of Service Now Integration Hub, Flow Designer and SFTP Spokes technologies.
  • Act as a Sr. Middleware Architect to evaluate and design software applications, planning the various feature of a program and integrate them into a functioning system.
  • Determines the technical specification of a project, creating technical blueprint and editing code.
  • Evaluating, identifying, and developing software solutions. 
  • Document and record every aspect of an application or software and train and oversee the activities of the members of the development team.  
  • Coordinating Monthly CRISP Patch.
  • Participate and operate within an SFG Project Administrator to support daily monitoring for B2Bi and ISCC production environments on the zLinux/s390 and Linux VMS platforms.
  • Upgrading B2Bi and ISCC with newest version to meet VA security requirements.
  • Renew TLS/SSL certificates for B2Bi and ISCC yearly.

Qualifications

  • Middleware experience - Highest priority need;  experience and/or working knowledge of ServiceNow Integration Hub, Flow Designer and SFTP Spokes, preferred. 
  • Good to have experience: IBM Sterling File Gateway, IBM WebSphere, Splunk.
  • Must have extensive experience with System Administrator responsibilities and product installations.           
  • Experience working with Service Now Integration Hub, Flow Designer and SFTP Spokes.
  • Experience with Service Now administration 
  • Demonstrated ability with ServiceNow incident, change, problem, request, CMDB and knowledge management applications
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve complex software application related problems
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • ITIL v3 Certification 
  • Ability to analyze raw results, determine / resolve bottlenecks, and create meaningful documentation of testing scenarios and results
  • Service Now Certifications System Administrator and/or Service Now Certified Application Developer
  • Experience with JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and web service integrations using REST, SOAP, etc.
  • Experience working with SFTP/FTP transfer protocols and file transfers built-in software applications.
  • Expertise in developing Sterling/IBM integrator database schemas, complex maps and building business processes.
  • Will use ServiceNow Integration Hub to schedule and automate file transfers between endpoints in software applications.
  • Linux scripting experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent Linux OS system administration.
  • General networking knowledge.
  • Excellent knowledge of SSH Public/Private Keys / Certificates.
  • Excellent knowledge of Java language.
  • Experience in IT service management, ITIL certification 

Education:

 

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other engineering or technical discipline PLUS 10 Years of experience
  • Ten (10) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (20 Total)

 

Clearance: 

 

  • The ability to pass a Tier 4/HIGH Background Investigation

  • Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST)

 

Pay Range:

 

  • The pay for this position ranges from $85,730 to $99,500
  • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
  • Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses
