• Setting up and maintaining Unix servers and virtual machines in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Monitoring system performance and implementing tuning strategies to optimize resource utilization. 
• Implementing security measures to protect Unix servers and data stored in the cloud.
• Troubleshooting server and network issues, identifying root causes, and resolving technical problems.
• Managing backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support application deployment and system integration in the cloud.
• Staying current with industry trends and best practices in Unix administration and cloud computing technologies. 

• Must have technical skills in Unix operating systems and cloud platforms
• Should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
• Must be able to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Should have the ability to work independently and adapt to changing requirements is also important in this dynamic and evolving field.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Engineering Management, Math, or equivalent PLUS 10 Years of experience
• Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education

Clearance: 

• The ability to pass a Tier 4/High Background Investigation 

Location:

• Remote, USA
• Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST)

Pay Range:

• The pay for this position ranges from $52,730 to $72,500
• The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
• Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses
